Teachers Christmas Cards

I haven't forgotten about this blog just sometimes I get so busy that I never sit down to post anything that I've made. I just made these 3 cards tonight to go with the teachers gifts that the kids have to take to school in the morning. They have 3 great teachers so I felt it was important to have 3 nice cards with them. I will post the instructions at the bottom under the pictures. They are the same cards, just with one I used a different stamp. Enjoy!!!

Babies and Birthdays.....

Seems like babies and birthdays are everywhere. I like to make cards for the Primary kids at church, so I made up a bunch the other day to have when they have birthdays. I'm the Primary President and we like to make the kids feel a little special on their birthdays. It's amazing how fast you can make cards when you make a bunch at once. The last card I made for my friends Meaghan's baby shower. She is due to have a little girl at the end of the month. Can't wait to meet her!!!

Happy Bird-day.......the girlie version.....

Looking forward to getting together in November. If you ever need to know how to make any of these projects please comment.......I will send you instructions!!!!

Baby Shower Card

Made this cute baby card the other week for a friends baby shower. It was the first time making this card and I thought it turned out pretty cute. I'm planning on making this one at club this month with few colour options. I'm going to try using my Stamp-ama- jig to do the dots on the background next time to see if I can get them to line up better.......I like things to look a little more perfect.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Stamping friends, just thought I'd share a little of what I've been up to card making for Thanksgiving... ta da!

I used the set The More the Merrier for these cards, along with the 1 3/8 circle punch, the scallop circle punch in both sizes and lots of stamp and write markers.

Hope they inspire you to make a card of thanks for someone!
This is the card I made for our family this year...
This one is being send to Brandon's grandparents... it's going to be a little late!
These were for the sisters that I visit teach... since I don't own a scallop punch I had to wait to get to Kathy's to use them... so that's why they don't have any behind them... I would have added that for sure. Still like them though!

Hope you're all having a great day- I'm looking forward to spending time with both sides of our family today and eating lots.

What have you made using this stamp set?... please share with us!

More oldies but goodies

I'm still posting some old pictures of projects we have made. These are two that we did at one of my Stampin' Up! workshops. It's always fun and challenging to think of fun new cards to make. The owl punch has been one of my favorite purchases. You can turn him into so many things. I'm hoping to do an owl workshop at some point, making everything using the owl punch. It's a must have for all of you card makers!!!

Teachers Gift Card Holders.....

Last year I wanted to do something for the kids teachers at school that was relatively inexpensive for me but still something fun for them and something that they would use. I made these super cute gift card holders and slid in a gift card for the movies. They were a huge hit!!

Welcome to our new card blog!!!! This is somewhere for my sister and I to post all the fun cards that we make.........hopefully I will be able to post instructions with all of the cards we make on here so you will be able to do them too!

This card is one that I made for my twin nieces (I actually did one for each of them) I will have to come back to post all the things that I used. It was one of my first that I've done on my own.
