Baby Card fun...

I recently had some great news from some close friends that babies are on the way, and of course that meant that cards needed to be made to celebrate the exciting days that are to come. Both friends don't know what they are having yet, so I tried to make then in somewhat gender neutral colors, although one is questionable, but I really do love how they turned out. I used the Every Little Bit set, which is one of my fav's. I've made a few other cards with this set which I hope to post soon. They're great stamps to use as add-on's or to make a great back splash! My sister also has the baby onesie roller, and did a bunch off for me, and I love them! So great to use for baby shower and baby card's!
Little duckies for Baby Lantz that is coming this summer...
Little rainbow bears for another special baby to come. This one hasn't been announced to all yet so I won't say who it's for, and they also haven't gotten it in the mail yet... so if they happen to see it here- SURPRISE!!

What baby cards have you made recently?? E-mail us and let us know we'd love to see them!

Merry Christmas with "All in the Family"

Please continue down after this post to view Kathy's card giveaway... it's fantastically cute! There are three ways to enter and each entry requires a comment!

So as many of my stampin' club friends know I have been starting to collect the "All in the Family" stamp sets, I've loved them for a LONG time and knew that there was so much I could do with them. What kept me from buying them in the past was that I had no idea how you would build the people, because there was no way to see where you were stamping. Well then I was introduced to the Stamp-a-ma-jig (pg.198 in catalogue) which is amazing. I'd love to know who came up with this idea. Anyway, it allows you to line up your stamps perfectly, so these little people can be built!

I decided this year for my family cards to use "All in the Family" to create holiday family pictures, for our family members. It was fun to create the people and try to create different clothing looks using the few options your given in the set. I'm hoping in the future that they'll bring out a set with more clothes options. For these cards I also used the tree from "Loads of Love" and the present from "Family Accessories". Hope you enjoy a look at my cards and that your inspired to use this set. More posts to come with what this set can do!
This is my little sister Laura and I
a card for my mom and dad...
A card for The Nelson Family... there are seven in the family... so the kids made the cover and Kathy and Jeff were inside!
The Bing's: Jaccob and Sarah and their cat Addy
The Fielden's: Chelsey and Ryan... so sad they have a bird named Petie and I didn't think I had a stamp for that, but it turns out that I did... so bummed not to get to add it on here.
Brittany and her boyfriend Ian and her dog Lucy
The Stewarts: Meaghan, Jason and Baby Alexis with their dog Buddy
My in-laws The Bings: Peter and Laureen
The O'Hearons: Mike, Keah, Finley and Emmy

I LOVED how they turned out!!

So please leave a comment saying "hello"If you post about this on your facebook status come back and let me know and I'll give you another entry. Post about it on your blog with a link and tell us and I will give you another entry. That's a chance for 3 entries!!!! If we can get 50 comments on this post I'll give away 2 sets........

Valentines Bags

If you are looking for something easy and cute for a Valentines treat look no further. I made this last night to show at my monthly card club to give the girls some fun ideas. I used a cute stamp set, card stock and clear cellophane bags all from Stampin' Up! I used some Hershey kisses to fill my bag but you could put any kind of treat inside ( cookies, homemade crayons etc) The possibilities are endless!!!

Stampin' Up! Card Stock- Real Red, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Stampin' Up! Medium Cellophane Bags ($5.50 for 50)

Real Red Card Stock 4 1/4" by 4 1/4"
Chocolate Chip Card Stock 4" by 1 7/8" ( 2 pieces)
Whisper White Card Stock 4" by 1 1/4" (2 pieces)

1. Fold your red paper in half and crease with bone folder.
2. Stamp image on white paper and colour to your liking.
3. Using adhesive or glue attach white paper to brown, leaving a border on top and bottom.
4.Fill medium cellophane bag with treat, and put on the inside of the red paper, creating top on bag. Staple in 2 spots, at least 1 " from either side.
5. Adhere your brown/white piece on top of red, centering and covering your staples.
6. Put another piece of brown on back to cover back of staples, can put another white piece on with either stamped image or handwritten note. Enjoy!!
